• Employment Assistance Services (EAS) MOSES Training
  The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is partnered with the Division of Career Services (DCS) for the purpose of providing high quality, comprehensive employment services to DTA customers through the Massachusetts Career Center System. The goal of these services is to promote and encourage the long term economic self-sufficiency of DTA customers. The primary programs through which these services are currently delivered include the Employment Assistance Services (EAS) and Skill Start programs. This training will cover the recording of these services into MOSES.

• Helping Offenders to Work: Job Development Tools
  This presentation discusses specific programs that job developers can use to help encourage employers to hire offenders or individuals that may have CORI issues. This includes Federal Bonding, The Work Opportunity Tax Credit, The Hiring Incentive Training Grant, Apprentice Training as well as how to utilize One Stop Career Centers.

• Hiring Incentives Training Grant (HITG) Program Guidelines (Adobe pdf file)
  The Hiring Incentives Training Grant program provides training cost re-imbursements to employers who hire the unemployed.  This program is administered through the Workforce Training Fund.  HITG Program Guidelines detail the main criteria for this program.
  

• New Functions in MOSES for Trade, Rapid Response, and National Emergency Grants
  Learn how to view and record Customer and Employer information when large layoffs occur.  Delve into the Trade program and National Emergency Grants.  Learn how the Rapid Response program interacts with both these programs.  Know how to record your services in MOSES.
